UPDATE 2024/05/06: I got banned for a couple of days lmao
I have an appeal in now and if nothing else hopefully I'll get a clarification, so I'll do a little update video when that comes back, but maybe keep it in mind if you were thinking of trying this for yourself đ
-----------------------------
UPDATE 2 - 2024/05/12: Maybe predictably the appeal was rejected.
It was just a couple of days (by the time I noticed the ban had already expired lol), but itâll stay noted on my account for a year, so maybe more of a âhey knock it offâ than anything more serious.
No comment from anyone at Jagex, which honestly Iâm more sad about than anything else, like a âlol but noâ wouldâve been nice, but thatâs how it is I guess.
Itâs worth noting that the evidence for the ban was listed as âjagex moderator commentâ, which implies to me that I was banned on the basis of the video more than from being detected in game, so make of that what you will, but with the warning on my account for a year I wonât be taking the risk to get that 99 by walking at least.
Iâll be taking a little break from OSRS, partly because of burnout from working on this, partly because they donât do regional pricing and with exchange rates atm membership is crazy expensive right now, but Iâll be back on the grind before too long!
I had thought about doing a follow up video to talk more about this, but honestly Iâd rather put my energy into the next project than saying what I could be saying with this comment.
But otherwise thanks so much everyone for checking out the video, and if you like what I do then I hope you stick around for the next thing (hopefully done by the end of the month!).

A tool that remotely clicks on your PC, every time your phone pedometer picks up a step.
I used this to grind magic on Old School RuneScape for over 40 hours and it worked great!
Take a look at how a made it, and the extremes that I went to to test it out here:
The server is a python script, honestly I recommend running this in something like Visual Studio Code so that you can see any errors and install any needed dependencies easily.
The client is an Android app which will run in the background once connected.
If you have any trouble getting things to work there are a couple of steps which are explained in the Android app, but the key things to remember are:
.Forward port 1337 on your router so that you can access it outside your home network
.Grant physical activity permission for the app
.Make sure that the app power settings are managed manually/allowed to run in the background
.After all that, I recommend turning off your Android device WiFi so that your connection isn't interrupted, then you can connect to the IP address listed in the server app and start walking!
.Oo! It also might be a good idea to have a remote desktop app like NoMachine or Chrome Remote Desktop set up so that you can fix any issues that might happen (like getting logged out) while you're away from your PC.
Have fun, and remember that I take no responsibility for any bans or whatever that come down from Jagex for this (I talk about the grey area that this fits into in the video for a while, imo it should be fine, but Jagex have been vague on this).

I can't get it set up on my iPhone and Macbook air. can u help me to get it working?
Sorry, the app is for Android only as I don't have the equipment to test and build for iOS.
To use this, how should I configure my RuneLite plugins? I am using a Plugin that makes the classic fixed layout of the game cover my entire screen (Including the logout menu). So should I turn off all of my plugins while doing this or should I be using a few specific ones?
You can either turn off the plugin that changes the logout menu in RuneLite, or click the toggle button to turn off login screen detection altogether.
I'm not familiar with that plugin I'm afraid, but all the login screen detection is looking for is a small block of black pixels halfway down the left side of the screen. You'll be able to tell if it works on your setup by just running the server script (no need to connect your phone) and sitting on the login screen for 10 seconds until it does the check. The text on the server app should turn red and let you know it's seeing the right thing.
tysm man much love <3
